Hotel Delfin, Zadar

My stay was filled with ups and downs. The room overlooking the sea had a very low inclined ceiling, leading to multiple head knocks in a day – I'd advise steering clear of this one. On the bright side, the location is fantastic, with public and private parking spaces, the beach, and markets extremely close. The service, especially at the breakfast corner, was top-notch, with extremely polite and helpful staff. However, more vegetarian/vegan options were desired in the dining area, even though the Mediterranean dishes were delicious.

I had a bit of a love-hate relationship with this hotel. The rooms were clean, well-equipped, and had a lovely large mirror in the bathroom, but that low inclined ceiling was a disaster waiting to happen. It felt like I was playing a game of head-knocking all day. However, the service was truly top-notch, with super-friendly and attentive staff. The location was peaceful yet convenient, perfect for a private beach vacation just a quick bus ride away from Zadar. The dining experience offered a diverse range of delicious options, from Croatian cheeses to fresh fruit, though I wished the dining area was a bit closer to the hotel. Overall, it was a pleasant stay marred only by a few minor inconveniences.

My stay at the hotel was truly outstanding. The rooms were incredibly comfortable with great air conditioning and a spacious layout perfect for four adults. The lovely terrace overlooking the sea was a real highlight. Being right next to the beach and having easy access to the direct bus route to Zadar city made it super convenient. However, the distance from the old center of Zadar required taking transportation to get there.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were well-equipped, clean, and pleasant, but the lowered ceiling was a bit annoying if you're not used to it. The absence of a mirror near the door was inconvenient, although the bathroom had a nice large mirror. The persistent smell of cigarettes, whether from previous guests or cleaning staff, was a downside I couldn't overlook.
